I know that this is a few weeks overdue, but our baby finally came!!! Heather started having contractions around 1 in the morning, and by 2:30-3:00 we were out the door on the way to the hospital! we went to a little room where they made sure Heather was in labor. we were in there for a little over an hour when the nurse came in and checked Heather out, and she was kind of implying that the doctor would not admit us into the hospital. 5 Minutes later the Nurse comes in with a surprised look on her face and says, "the doctor admitted you!" so we got to our room at about 5:00-5:30, and were there only about an hour when Heather said, "I think I want my epidural now." so we got that done at 6:30. A few hours past by, and not a whole lot happened. about 10:00 the nurse came in and said that the baby's heartbeat was getting too low when heather had a contraction, so they hooked heather up to an oxygen mask. Heather is the only person I know who would smile and be hooked up to so many machines at the same time.

We had visits from the doctor, and he broke her water. Around 11:45 Heather said the contractions were getting more intense, and by 12:00 we were pushing. we started pushing before the doctor even got there (that kinda freaked me out because in my mind I'm thinking we need the doctor here in case the baby pops out). The Doctor arrived shortly after, and he was all business! He came in and told the Nurses how he needed things and what they didn't need. any who, he instructed Heather along, and I counted to 10 like any husband does. and at 12:30 exactly Bam!

We had our little Girl! Her name is Brooke, and she weighed 7lbs. 5 oz and was 21 inches long. she is a cute little girl and we love her lots.
We Finally got to go home, and we are loving having her around. at first it was strange that we finally had our baby home. that moment felt like it would never come. we showed her her new home, and she fits right in. She is a sweet little girl, and we love her lots.

So... Its been a while. I have decided to start writing on here just because I know I like seeing posts from everyone, and thought maybe other people might feel the same. so lets get started.
I think everyone that would read this already knows that Heather and I are expecting our first baby. heather is due any second now, and we are all excited. I'm still doing the school thing, but I have changed jobs. I am now an accountant at Premier Marble and Granite. its a great place to work, and I love it here.

Heathers family is in town right now and they are all watching Heather like a hawk. if she makes the slightest move, they all ask her if its a contraction because they want her to have the baby before they have to leave (I have to admit that I do this a lot to Heather as well).

That is my life in a year. I'll keep up with my blogs this time...

I haven't done anything on here in a while, but here is a new story that started yesterday... All of us at work were talking about jobs we've had in the past, and when it came to me I said that I was a tour bus driver. almost before I was done saying that a girl says, "for bands when they go on tour?!" and I said , "yes." They wanted to know what band I was a driver for and I said Joe Nichols (he's a country singer), and all of them were amazed. then they caught on after a second, and said, "wait... you left Joe Nichols to come work here?!?!" I said, "yes. I need to focus on my school." so now every one at work thinks I'm so cool, and such a dedicated student... Now before anyone gets mad and calls me a liar, let me explain. My first year up in Alaska I was a tour bus driver, and right before I came back home for school Joe Nichols came up to Fairbanks to do a concert. his manager charted the bus from my company, and they picked me to be the one to go pick him up at the airport, and take him to his hotel. so I spent a grand total of 15 minutes being Joe Nichols tour bus driver. So everything I told the people at work was true... I just made it larger than what it really was.

So for one of my classes I have a very old teacher... So old that water was invented during her teenage years, any way... She put us into groups to do a project, and so we had to do a proposal for this project and she hands it back to us and we didn't get the grade we wanted. Since I am the curious little guy that I am, I added up all the points on the project, and found that there was enough points missing to bring us from a 72% to an 84% so I took the proposal back to her, and told her what was wrong. She took it and said she would fix it. At the same time this is happening another guy in my group revised the proposal to get more points, and he hands it in. The next day in class I walk in and my teacher says, "Danny I need your original proposal before I can grade your revised proposal." I looked at her and said, "you have it." she said that she handed it back to me, when I know she didn't. So we have an argument in front of the class for about 5 minutes, then she finally says, "oh... I put your old proposal in the checked folder..." Everybody already thinks she has horrible organization skills. Almost a second after that last quote she says, "okay... Since its the end of the semester, I want you all to do an evaluation of me." Her timing couldn't have been worse, so to make a long story a little bit longer... My class failed her.

so one thing that I like to do is find rising bands and follow them. this band has had experience with "making it big", and then being lower than dirt. half of the band comes from stone temple pilots, and the other half from filter. both bands broke up a few years ago, and they were just friends, and jokingly they said, "hey lets make a record together." thats where this band comes from. so I'm a few days late, but I love Halloween just for the fact that we can scare other people, and laugh about it. In this clip I've never felt so bad for laughing at it. Any way... Happy belated Halloween

so latley I've had little to no time for playing the guitar. it hasn't really bothered me too much, but the other day my wife and I were goofing off on the internet, and we found a video of a guy playing guitar that made me want to pick my guitar up and play again.
